Ways We Heal
In one of our last conversations Mindy asked me to help spread the message that suicide is preventable. I wasn't able to read between the lines that she was asking for help but not being direct with me.
I am forming this charity to help honor Mindy's last wishes and help people who suffer be able to seek treatment as we help take care of their pets while they are in treatment.

Our mission is to partner with the www.spcai.org Powsitive Recovery program to help care for pets while their owners seek treatment for addiction and/or depression. Many times people want to get help but don't have anyone to care for their animals while they are in treatment. Some individuals are so attached to their pets that they refuse to get help because they don't want to abandon their pet. Our program will provide free pet fostering and care for those who are entering an accredited rehab/mental health facility.
At the moment this program is only available in Colorado. It's our mission to help grow this program to every state across the USA. We would love you to join us by volunteering, fostering or donating to this tax deductible 501(c)3 charity.
