Despite everything the public saw there was a more sinister story going on behind the scenes which Mindy rarely talked about publicly and when she shared her traumas few people believed her. Only those who knew her and witnessed the atrocities committed against her knew what was really going on.
Everyone who gets involved with this project is going to want to help you but they can not help you unless you are 100% willing to put in hard work.
Every person who suffers has the duty to be proactive and if we are not offered help we have to be proactive and seek it ourselves.
Prior to Mindy's death she asked several friends to help her spread the message that there is help for depression and that suicidal ideations can be managed. Despite her wanting to help others she was ashamed of her own diagnosis and although she had a court order to be in rehab doctors allowed her to check herself out of the hospital. Mindy was in no condition to be alone at this time. She refused to continue treatment because of media scrutiny and the stigma they placed on her. Mindy was shamed for taking care of her mental health and this ultimately lead to her suicide. Now that Mindy is gone I started this charity to attempt to help Mindy fulfill her last wish and let those who suffer know that there is help available.
